Technical Documentation

Operational guidelines and frequently asked questions for the Nexus Market ecosystem. Review protocols before initiating transactions.

Access & Identity

Nexus Market Link serves as a verified directory and documentation hub. We maintain the canonical registry of V3 onion addresses signed by the market's PGP key. Our objective is to ensure users have access to correct connection points and technical tutorials for navigating the Nexus ecosystem securely on the Tor network.
The platform operates on a strict zero-knowledge privacy model. Upon registration, the system generates a cryptographic 12-word mnemonic seed phrase. This phrase is displayed only once. It is the sole method for password resets or PIN recovery. Support staff cannot restore access to lost accounts, ensuring no backdoor access exists.
Access requires the Tor Browser. Standard browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) cannot resolve .onion TLDs. For optimal operational security (OpSec), users should set the Tor Browser Security Level to "Safest" (disabling JavaScript globally) and avoid resizing the window to prevent browser fingerprinting.

Security & Encryption

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via PGP is mandatory for vendors and optional for users. The server encrypts a random alphanumeric string (nonce) using the user's public PGP key. The user must decrypt this message using their private key and enter the revealed code to complete the login process. This ensures account integrity even if passwords are compromised.
Verification relies on digital signatures. The market administration signs all mirror lists with the official private key. Users should import the public key and verify the PGP signature of any message containing links. The marketplace also features an internal "Verify Mirror" tool that checks the current URL against the signed database.
Nexus operates with minimal data retention. Transaction details are automatically purged from the database after a set period following order finalization. Messages are encrypted and auto-deleted. No IP logs are maintained, and all server disks are fully encrypted to prevent forensic data recovery in the event of seizure.

Financial Protocols

Direct Pay generates a unique, one-time-use deposit address for each specific order invoice. The buyer sends the exact cryptocurrency amount to this address. Once the blockchain confirmations are received, the order status updates automatically. This minimizes the risk of leaving idle funds in a centralized market wallet.
Nexus supports Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC). We strongly advocate for Monero usage due to its RingCT and stealth address technologies, which completely obfuscate sender, receiver, and transaction amounts on the blockchain.
  • Deposits: 0% fee.
  • Withdrawals: Flat 1% fee + network mining fees.
  • Direct Pay: 0% market fee (network fees apply).
Minimum withdrawal thresholds are dynamic, typically equivalent to $3 USD to prevent dust accumulation.

Market Dynamics

Escrow: Funds are held by the market protocol until the buyer confirms receipt or the timer expires. This is the default for all new vendors.
FE (Finalize Early): Funds are released to the vendor immediately upon marking the order "Shipped". This status is granted only to high-volume, trusted vendors. Buyers assume full risk when using FE.
The administration strictly prohibits the listing of Harm Reduction items. This includes Fentanyl/analogs, weaponry, explosives, poisons, and Child Exploitation material. Doxxing, blackmail, and scams also result in immediate account termination and blacklisting of associated PGP keys.
Disputes can be initiated if an order is not received or matches the description. For physical goods, the window opens after the auto-finalize timer expires (usually 14 days). For digital goods, disputes must be raised within 72 hours. Moderators review chat logs and transaction data to issue partial or full refunds.

Technical Support

The Tor network is susceptible to latency and DDoS attacks. If the main entry node is unresponsive, cycle your Tor identity (Ctrl+Shift+L) or utilize one of our rotational mirrors.

Support is handled exclusively via the internal ticketing system to ensure encryption. Log in to your account, navigate to the "Support" tab, and create a new ticket. Include relevant Order IDs or Transaction Hashes. External contact forms on this portal are for general access inquiries only.
